Q1.What kind of mobile system support Taiwan card?
Our Taiwan Card can register in 3G or 4G system, depends on your devices. 3G(WCDMA),4G(LTE) for 900&2600MHz-capable frequency as known Global mode.
Q2.How can I find the right SIM for my device?
We have three types of SIM Cards : Standard, Micro and Nano.
Q3.Is my device compatible with the T-Star network?
Phones that are WCDMA or 4G LTE 900&2600MHz-capable should work on our network.
Q4.How to count the days of data service?
Data service will be counted by day (24 hours) after card activation. For example, if you activate your Taiwan Card (Plan A, 3-day plan) at 10:30 on 1 January 2015, the card will expire at 10:30 on 4 January 2015.
Q5.How can I check the balance and expiry of my Taiwan Card?
Please dial 123 for IVR or send a blank text (SMS) to 74701 with your Taiwan Card number, and the system will send you a text informing you of the balance and expiry of your Taiwan Card.
Q6.My Taiwan Card is running out of credit, where can I top it up?
Q7.My data service was shut down after running out of credit and I want to use the same number continuously. What should I do?
Please visit the Prepaid Card Top-up site of T STAR (if you use your mobile phone, you will need to pay the data fee. Please check if your plan is an unlimited plan), any T Star branches or contract stores, or any store of the following four convenience store chains: 7-Eleven, Family Mart, OK Mart, and Hi-Life to top up over the counter.
Q8.Can I use international roaming with the Taiwan Card?
The Taiwan Card currently does not support international roaming service. However, you can make international calls with the Taiwan Card. Please note that you must use the 18866 budget international call service to enjoy discounts for international calls.
Q9.I lost my Taiwan Card, can I apply for a new one?
The Taiwan Card is a prepaid SIM, so it is non-refundable or is not reissued after sales. Please hold onto it carefully.
Q10.Can I request a phone bill and call list?
The Taiwan Card is a prepaid SIM, so there is no phone bill, no call list, no international roaming service, and any telecommunication services available for monthly plan numbers. We apologize.
Q11.I am leaving Taiwan and there is balance on my Taiwan Card. What should I do with it? Can I transfer the balance to other subscribers?
All balances will be invalid after card expiry. Please use up the balance before card expiry or top up your card before the expiry to extend card expiry to another 180 days. No balance of the Taiwan Card can be transferred to another number
Q12.Can I reuse my Taiwan Card when visit Taiwan again?
Within the period of Taiwan card validity, you may use it and recharge if need while visit Taiwan.
